Terms and conditions for AdviceScout
By accessing and using the AdviceScout website (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using the platform. 1.2 These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”) and AdviceScout. Users may include individuals, businesses, and any other entities accessing the Platform.
AdviceScout is an online platform that provides listing services as well as information and recommendations on Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for businesses across various industries (“Services”). 2.2 The Services are provided for informational purposes. Users are solely responsible for any decisions they make based on the information provided by AdviceScout.
Users agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when using the Platform and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 3.2 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. 3.3 Users must not: a) Use the Platform for any illegal, unauthorized, or improper purposes; b) Interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the Platform or its underlying systems; c) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or any related systems or networks; d) Collect or store personal information of other users without their consent; e) Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent their affiliation with any person or entity.
The Platform and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and trademarks, are owned by AdviceScout or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. 4.2 Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes only. Users must not use, copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Platform or its content without prior and express written consent from the platform provider.
The Platform and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Despite best efforts, the platform provider provides no warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. 5.2 The platform provider makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided on the Platform. 5.3 Users acknowledge and agree that any reliance on the information and recommendations provided by the platform provider is at their own risk. Users are solely responsible for verifying the suitability and compatibility of any software solutions before making any decisions or purchases.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform provider and its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Platform or the Services. 6.2 Users agree to indemnify and hold the platform provider harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to their use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
The platform provider reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Users are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. 7.2 Continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The platform provider may terminate or suspend a User’s access to the Platform at any time and for any reason without liability. 8.2 Upon termination, the User’s rights to use the Platform will immediately cease, and any provisions of these Terms that would reasonably be expected to survive termination shall continue to apply.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England (UK). 9.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England (UK).
